Garden at the Plough

Built between 300 and 400 hundred years ago The Plough was until recently a hostelry for the traveller and local herdsmen with its history intrinsically linked to the parish and peoples of Myddfai. It now offers comfortable & friendly bed and breakfast accommodation.

The cosy main dining area, which was a smithy in past centuries has stone walls, an open wood-burning stove and exposed beams. Homecooked meals are served here. In good weather there is a pretty courtyard in which to eat, drink and relax.

The whole premises, including bedrooms, are non-smoking.

Double and twin-bedded rooms, all en suite and recently refurbished, are available. The tariff is £25.00 per person per night for bed and full traditional breakfast.

Packed lunches are also available.

Due to the physical constraints of this old building we are sorry that the accommodation may not be suitable for everyone. The steep and narrow stairs and different levels of the building unfortunately cannot be altered. We would be happy to discuss individual needs and to explain what is available.

You are assured of a warm welcome and personal attention.
